That they may all be one
Who we are
We belong to the United Church of Christ (UCC), forged in 1957 as the union of several different Christian traditions. From the beginning, we have affirmed that Christians did not always have to agree to live together in community. The UCC motto—“that they may all be one”—is Jesus’s prayer for the unity of the church, and our hope for a unity based on love rather than doctrine.
