Born and raised in Oklahoma, Pastor Chris (he/him) was ordained into the UCC in 2009, after many years in the I.T. management industry. He is a graduate of the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) and Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa.
A “second career” minister, Chris was the founding pastor of First Congregational UCC of Norman, an Associate Pastor at Mayflower Congregational UCC in Oklahoma City for several years, and has been the pastor at Fellowship since late 2013. He currently serves as the President of the Board for Tulsa Metropolitan Ministry and works with ACTION, a broad-based community organizing effort.
His wife, Kathy, is a speech pathologist, and they have two boys, Ian and Alec.
Gina (she/her) was born and raised in Sacramento, California, and was ordained into the UCC in 2015.
She graduated with a BA in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento, with an MA in Rehabilitation from the University of Arkansas – Little Rock and an M.Div from Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa.
She lives and works in Muskogee at the Oklahoma School for the Blind as an Orientation and Mobility Instructor.
She is married to Dr. Julie Summers, Director of Outreach & Prevention Services for the Mental Health Association Oklahoma. They love to take weekend trips, hiking, and canoeing.
John D. Morrison III (he/him), also known as JD, is the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Morrison Jr. JD was born and raised on the south side of Chicago and grew up in Third Baptist Church of Chicago, where he developed his musical gift.
His vocational experiences include:
- Serving as Youth Pastor at Antioch Baptist Church located in Tulsa
- Mentoring low-income youth at a local community center
- Providing leadership as the Program Coordinator of the Tulsa Boys Home, a non-profit residential treatment facility for young men that need placement outside their homes.
In 2004, JD earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Wichita State University in Wichita, where he was on scholarship for collegiate bowling. He continued his education at Phillips Theological Seminary, earning a Master of Divinity Degree in 2011. JD is currently a doctoral student at Phillips Theological Seminary, where he is earning his degree in Pastoral Leadership emphasizing in Homiletics.
JD is a Chaplin and Captain in the United States Air Force for the 138 Air National Guard. He is married to Danielle. They have two children, Royal, and John.
The Morrison family arrived at Fellowship in the summer of 2014 we have enjoyed every moment of it. We love our church and our church family.
Paul (he/him) moved to Tulsa in 2005 from his birthplace of Joplin, Missouri. He holds BM and MM degrees in music from the University of Central Oklahoma and has worked with Tulsa Symphony, Council Oak Men’s Chorale, Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, Arkansas Philharmonic, Tulsa Camerata, and the “First Lady of Country Fiddle” – Jana Jae.
In addition to his career as a pianist, he teaches a studio of young musicians and composes. His catalog of original works includes music for orchestra, wind symphony, chorus, chamber ensembles, and solos instruments. Many of his piano solos and duets are available from Piano Pronto Publishing in Temecula, California.
When work is over, Paul spends much of his time in the woods. He has a YouTube channel, “Oklahomo Hiker,” to share his adventures with others and to promote LGBTQIA+ representation in outdoor spaces.

Glen Jones is the musical accompanist and has been playing for Fellowship UCC since 2005. Glen accompanies the choir, instrumentalists, and soloists during our services. He has been playing for churches since he was 10.

Justin DaMetz (he/him) was born and raised in rural Kansas, just outside of Wichita. Prior to joining the staff FCC, he was an elementary school teacher with Tulsa Public Schools.
Justin obtained his BA in Political Science from Oklahoma City University in 2011, and his MA in Theology and Ethics from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary, in Chicago IL, in 2019. He has spent time working in the political arena, including for the Oklahoma House Democratic Caucus. He also previously served as the Worship Coordinator for All Souls Unitarian Church, and as the Programs Director for The Little Blue House, an open and affirming campus ministry at TU.
Justin resides in Tulsa with his wife Tabitha, who is the librarian at Hoover Elementary School, and his three children: Julian, age 10; Evelyn, age 8, and Hollis, age 2. The family loves traveling, finding fun new places to eat, and hunting for rocks and crystals
